Specialty kit collection is a visit where the collection materials belong to somebody else. The provider draws into the tubes that came in your kit, packs them the way the kit’s own instruction sheet requires, and either hands the sealed package back for its prepaid return label or drops it off, depending on what the kit says.

The rules are stricter than a routine draw and they belong to the kit rather than to the provider. Some kits accept only one tube type. Some must be shipped the same day they are filled. Some name a courier window that closes early in the afternoon. A provider who lists this service is saying they are used to working to another company’s written instructions rather than their own routine.

What to have ready

The complete kit, still sealed, including the return packaging and the prepaid shipping label.
The instruction sheet that came with it — tube order, fill volume and shipping deadline are printed there, and the provider will follow it.
The shipping or courier cut-off, if the kit names one. It decides what time of day the visit has to happen.
Any online registration the kit company asks you to complete before collection, done in advance.
The kit company’s support contact, in case something in the box is missing and the visit has to be rearranged.
